Sorry for the long absence my dears, I will explain in a later post – I’ve been super busy! I just wanted to share with you my brand spanking new purchases! If you haven’t heard of/ shopped at COS then you are TOTALLY MISSING OUT!!!! you need to get involved. It’s just fab for winter too with their casual loungewear and cashmere knits.
My first purchase was a 3/4 sleeved t-shirt in black/white stripes. At £17 it is totally worth it for being 100% cotton! I’ve bought from COS previously and I totally trust their brand and the quality. This top is such a staple piece – it also comes in a variety of 9 colours! So hurry up and snap it up!
Secondly, I splurged out a bit and bought this raised knit jumper in taupe. It’s got a sort of bubble texture to it that just keeps you so toasty along with puffed up sleeves for effect. This one came in at £49
Here are some of my favourite AW13 picks from COS:
1. Cashmere Hat – Made from pure extra soft cashmere, this hat is a versatile shape that can be folded back for a closer fit or worn loosely. And again look at the colour choice!!!
2. Gathered detailed top in biscuit – I just look at this top and think of winter nights cuddled up on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate and a blanket – not too hot and not too cold. This top has gathered pleats around the neckline for a draped effect. Made from a lightweight, fluid fabric, it has a narrow collar, curved shoulder seams and 3/4 sleeves.
3. Alpaca wool cropped jumper – What’s a winter wardrobe without a fluffy jumper?! This fleecy knit jumper is made from a wool and alpaca mix with a melange quality. A cropped, rounded shape, it has a ribbed round neckline and 3/4 raglan sleeves. Team it with jeans and heavy duty winter boots. Perfect.
4. Fine wool jersey top – Again another closet staple!!! Whatever the season. This top is made from sheer merino wool jersey with a soft, extra fine texture. Stretchy for a comfortably close fit, it has a ribbed round neckline and modern raw-edged cuffs and hem.
